The server’s economy is powered by iConomy 6. A fairly standard way to manage player’s money. Just for some geeky information, it’s all linked to a MySQL database so the server can handle a-lot of money pretty quickly.
In game try
/money
This will display your bank balance on screen. For additional commands and syntax, /money help will show you what to do.
This economy ties into many other parts of the game here on Archetype. Like the Town protection system and the shopping system. Don’t forget you can also buy blocks from other players if you ask them!
The currency in Archetype are called Bits. Not like computer bits where there are eight to a byte (or is that the other way around?) it’s a simple decimal currency so you can go up in increments of 0.01 Bits.
The image is just a representation, Bits are not physical items you can have in your inventory. That can be useful meaning they can’t be stolen – however you can’t always keep track of them, but using /money will tell you!
There are no set prices for blocks, meaning players can freely trade money from one-to-another. Is it a deal or deal-breaker? Be careful on price!
