Then to make sure you have maximum compatibility, install the configs. You can download those here! Move them into your FTB

Instillation Directory > Ultimate > minecraft > configs

Replace the entire contents of that folder with the ones found in that .zip file linked above. Now you are ready to connect! If you forgot the address while you were doing that, get the instructions here.

CHANGING MODPACKS!

Thanks to a broken valve linking to a forestry farm the old world has been disconnected and we’ll be generating a new one. We’re swapping from Mindcrack to FTB Ultimate and hope to be undertaking some massive new collaborative construction. We’ll send a push through Troizen for iOS (click if you don’t already have it) to let you know when we’re back up!

TeamSpeak 3 is compatible with almost every operating system. and you can Download their Client from their website here. They also have an app for iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad which you can download in iTunes here.

All you need then is the connection settings:

Label: This can be anything. We suggest Archety.pe Voice
Address: archety.pe
Username: Again, anything but we suggest your Minecraft IGN.
Password: There is no server password.
Your Minecraft password won’t work here either.

You should have something similar to the box above (Please note these settings are from the Bookmarks tab) The client should then connect you to the Server. Happy Chatting.

So, we have a temporary world loaded up and by chance you spawn in a snow biome. The first thing you’ll see is a giant Mystcraft portal and you should take a step through to see what lies beyond. It’s a bit chaotic. Giant trees, mushroom biomes masked against glaciers and autumn forests. We hope to carry some of this madness over once the FTB update is complete. The best part? Dense ores x2 and eternal daytime.

The new machine hasn’t been deployed yet as there are a few configurations which need manually sorting first, then all the software needs downloading and blah, blah, blah. All I can say for sure is to keep your eye’s peeled for when the switchover takes place as I’ll need to stop the old server and move the files half-way around the world. This server will also play home to the website too (which is somewhere in Las Vagas) consolidating everything under one… technological roof.

It’s the first place you spawn when you log into Archetype. There’s not really that much to do there except all the warps to different cities and worlds. It’s probably best to find one and just walk through. The portal to the main world can be found in the floating ruins. You can’t really miss it. It’s big and blue! Any strange blue obelisk-like structures are probably portals built into the world on a permanent basis. Unless they say otherwise, all will link back to the portal in the ruins

The Ruins
A new addition to Strata for generation 6, the Ruins house most of the portal books to other players’ worlds along with the portal to the main overworld. Each player on request gets their own ‘pod’ or they can place the books and linking stands anywhere in the Ruins as they can’t be placed in the overworld. While the pods are fairly small, they’re totally secured with an LWC door so you can choose who has access or not. The ruins will tend to expand after a while as more worlds are added.

The Castle
This absolutely massive floating castle serves as home to the Admin and some of the moderators. It boasts a complex structure of corridors behind what seems to be a calm façade. We guessed it was so he could hide from players when needed.
Guests are usually welcome unless the entrance is blocked. Otherwise you might have a hard time getting in. Rumour has it that there’s a treasure hidden in one of the gardens.
